Our Work with the Department of Defense
LUKE has a long history of supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) through the Defense Health Agency’s (DHA) Medical Q-Coded Services (MQS) program. We secured more than 200 task orders under the five-year MQS contract, which ran for eight years and ended in 2025. LUKE was also named to DHA’s 10-year, $43 billion MQS2 Next Generation multiple-award contract, running from June 1, 2024 through May 31, 2034.
Our work includes recruiting, qualifying, hiring, onboarding, and retaining medical professionals to meet the needs of military medical treatment facilities. Our recruiting, training, and credentialing teams help build reliable care teams so service members and their families can receive the quality care they deserve.
Our Work for the Department of Homeland Security
LUKE has provided caregiver and monitor services in support of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), including work across the Laredo, Rio Grande Valley, Del Rio, El Paso, Yuma, Tucson, San Diego, and El Centro sectors. Our teams brought bilingual capabilities and compassionate care to demanding environments, helping meet the needs of vulnerable individuals and support the people carrying out the mission.
That experience continues to inform the solutions we offer DHS. LUKE CEO John Sanders, former Acting Commissioner of Customs and Border Protection (CBP), and LUKE Director of DHS Programs Ryan Scudder, former Executive Assistant Commissioner for Enterprise Services at CBP, bring firsthand knowledge of the agency’s challenges. Our Work with the Department of Veterans Affairs
LUKE, through its joint venture, Aspire-LUKE JV, LLC is honored to have been awarded a 10-year, $23B IDIQ contract with the Department of Veterans Affairs. This contract is part of the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Integrated Critical Staffing Program (ICSP) which aims to provide the best value in health professional temporary clinical and non-clinical staffing services, program management, human capital, and other professional services. These efforts are crucial to fill critical staffing needs and to fulfill vital program requirements across VA sites of care nationwide. LUKE is proud to support this essential program to care for our veterans.
