The Helping Our Heroes Flourish Campaign is a nationwide effort to equip and mobilize churches, service organizations, and community partners to support warfighters, veterans, first responders, and their families. Answer the call to care for those who serve. Many people turn first to their faith community in times of stress, and with the right training and support, pastors, chaplains, and lay leaders can play a powerful role. Human Flourishing Coaches – whether faith-affiliated or not – are trained to listen, encourage, and teach simple, evidence-informed tools for managing stress, navigating trauma, and handling everyday challenges. They are not a replacement for medical care; they’re a trusted firstline of support that helps people seek help earlier and connect to chaplains, licensed clinicians, and other existing support resources when needed. Research shows that strong community and faith support are linked with better mental-health outcomes, including lower risk of suicide and fewer crises. If you’re a coach, a faith leader, or a community partner, and you
want to help servicemembers, veterans, and first responders break the cycle of despair, find hope, and reconnect with purpose, join the Human Flourishing Coaching movement.
